Role Description
The Monarch ERP Engineer will be responsible for the configuration, customization, integration, and ongoing support of the Monarch ERP platform. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the system aligns with business processes, supports production efficiency, and integrates seamlessly with other enterprise applications such as Azure SQL databases, Power BI, and Shopify.
This position requires deep technical understanding of ERP environments, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business, operations, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Monarch ERP system to support production, inventory, logistics, and financial operations.
  • Design and implement integrations between Monarch and related systems.
  • Analyze, document, and optimize ERP workflows, forms, and data structures.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports to support business intelligence and audit requirements.
  • Support ERP patching, version upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional configurations.
  • Troubleshoot ERP issues, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in ERP testing, validation, and change management processes.
  • Work closely with IT Security to maintain data integrity and align system configurations with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Provide user training, technical documentation, and post-implementation support.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience supporting and developing ERP systems (Monarch ERP preferred).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or order fulfillment processes.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with third-party or custom applications.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with API integrations, REST services, and data transformation tools (e.g., Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft).
  • Experience with ITIL processes and SDLC methodologies
