JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager leads the multi-year implementation of Cambro's Infor XA ERP program, overseeing both the technical and business transformation required across all functional areas. This role drives the planning, design, and execution of the ERP solution architecture, coordinating cross-functional teams and external system integrators to ensure cohesive, high-quality delivery.
They champion standardized business processes, guide organizational change efforts, and support communication and training to ensure consistent adoption of the new ERP platform. The Project Manager partners closely with business and IT leadership, aligning workstreams, resolving cross-department dependencies, and maintaining an integrated approach to the program. Although the role does not include direct reports, it requires strong influence, hands-on involvement, and the ability to lead teams through complex solution design and implementation.
Essential Job Functions
  • Drive a coordinated approach to ERP-related business process changes and technical system integration across all related ERP domains to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
  • Coordinate the contributions of external consultants, business functional leads, project managers, as well as business and IT leaders and business SMEs
  • Provide subject matter expertise and trends, methodologies, tools, and techniques that will be useful to ERP program activities and the organization.
  • Works closely with Cambro leadership to develop standardized global business processes.
  • Manage and resolve complex business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or procedures, escalating decisions as appropriate to IT and Business Leadership as needed,
  • Works closely other stakeholders to ensure adoption of the systems, ensure business process redesign and standardization, helps to build capacities throughout the organization and anticipate and engender cultural changes that ensure successful implementation.
  • Attend Meetings and ensure the efficiency of the ERP decision-making process.
  • Works as a part of the leadership team on the ERP direction, assuring process, people, and technology alignment.
  • Work with the Core Team, IT, Business Leadership, and implementation vendors to create a comprehensive ERP deployment and rollout strategy and plan. Oversee the effective rollout of the ERP solution.
  • Coach, mentor, and influence Technical and Business members.
  • Ensure domain-specific project management tasks for the ERP program are being effectively conducted.
  • Working with the System Integrators, conduct management-level relationship management with product vendors and other third-party consulting partners to ensure strategic goals are met and maintained to drive the best cost-effective solution.
  • Provide Project Management Oversight for the IT portfolio of projects
  • Ensure change management is being effectively planned and managed and that stakeholder engagement, communication, and all levels of required training is being effectively executed.
  • Ensure the change management is fully integrated into ERP deployment planning and rollout strategy and plan.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Creates and maintains systems documentation.
  • Create, Maintain and report on KPIs for MOS.
  • Leads in identifying and prioritizing remediation efforts for issues.
  • Pursue and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Fulfill the duties of direct report staffing as needed to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills to help junior staff excel in role.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor direct report staff.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ or more years of experience related to Infor XA implementations with clear demonstration of progressive achievement and growth in ERP program management experience
  • 5+ years of large-scale Project Management
  • Loves being involved in major, highly visible projects.
  • Proficient with common Information Technologies nomenclature
  • Excellent knowledge and execution of PMO and Development Team Management
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter and possesses excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrate crisis management capabilities, work well in ambiguous situations, and adjust readily to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
  • Creative and Innovative thinker.

  • Collaborate across other business, technology, and infrastructure teams to provide seamless solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Global IT experience is preferred.
  • 6 or more years of experience in IT and business/industry.
  • Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
  • Preferably two or more years of experience in large, cross-functional teams partnering with senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
  • Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT tactical operations in complex and dynamic environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the IT workforce.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • IT Related Certifications preferred.
