Job description

Position Summary:   The ERP Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to align with business operations, financial controls, and government contracting requirements. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Finance, Program Control, Contracts, Supply Chain, Maintenance Operations, HR) and IT to ensure ERP functionality supports operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
This position drives continuous improvement of ERP-enabled processes, supports data integrity and reporting readiness, and participates in system upgrades and governance.

Key Responsibilities:             

  • Serve as the functional SME for Pentagon 2000SQL
  • Drive the development, implementation, and sustainment of ERP-enabled business processes across the organization
  • Analyze business processes and system capabilities to define requirements, propose solutions, and translate requirements into ERP configuration and functional design
  • Work with Business Process Owners to improve workflows and system utilization
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
  • Support new module implementations and system enhancements
  • Execute functional testing (including regression testing) and deploy new releases and upgrades
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain end-user training and process documentation
  • Provide Tier 2/3 functional support for ERP-related issues, troubleshoot user issues, and resolve system errors
  • Support the data governance, clean up, and standardization across all systems to enable accurate reporting, billing, forecasting, technical initiatives, and operational decision-making
  • Maintain process documentation and controls documentation (process maps, SOPs, work instructions) to support operational consistency and audit readiness
  • Support project accounting, contract setup, and cost tracking
  • Ensure ERP processes align with FAR/DFARS and internal control standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience of creative problem solving with complex business process issues
  • Experience providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to lead change management efforts in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain focus with positive energy and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and foster a team-based environment
  • Excellent problem identification, decision making and resolution abilities
  • Experience supporting finance/project accounting, supply chain, or maintenance operations workflows
  • Experience in government contracting environment
  • Experience with project-based accounting and contract billing

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL experience preferred
  • 3+ years of ERP functional experience preferred
  • Pentagon 2000 experience preferred
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, ISO 9001 or AS9100 preferred

  • Security clearance requirements (or ability to obtain)
  • Passport or work authorization requirements

Working Conditions

  • Schedule Monday – Friday 8-5. Other hours as required based on business needs.
  • Ability to travel as required, less than 10%.
