Job Title: Oracle Cloud Procurement Consultant
This position focuses on guiding and assisting clients through all phases of project implementations of Oracle Cloud ERP Procurement Applications. The Functional Consultant is expected to have expertise in Oracle Procurement Applications
Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
Reports to: President
Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site at client location. Percentage of travel to client sites, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies
Responsibilities:
• Using in-depth knowledge of the Oracle Cloud Procurement Applications, as well as industry best practice expertise, consult with clients to provide cost effective solutions to solve business issues
• Provide high quality customer support, by working with client teams in gathering information to solve day to day system issues
• Trouble shoot client issues by performing various activities such as research, open SRs, system testing, and system configuration.
• Collaborate with client team in performing upgrade activities such as system configuration, testing and end user training
• Proactively contribute to the overall support process, by suggesting & executing new process efficiencies, documenting common support issues and workarounds, to minimize number of future support requests
• Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval.
• Identifies and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving system issues
• Work with Oracle to resolve service requests
• Participate in team training activities to keep current with Oracle Cloud functionality
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle Functional consultant with 2+ years of experience in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades.
• Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.
• Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead trouble shooting analysis, perform functional configuration and manage upgrade testing
• Ability to research, test, configure and solve client issues in a timely manner
• Ability to track and manage service request with Oracle support
• Proven experience with guiding clients through business process improvements and solving day to day issues.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
• Prior experience leading or managing projects.
