Our Job Corps programs provide life-changing services that help young people succeed in school, obtain good jobs, excel in their chosen fields, and serve as contributing members of their communities. We accomplish this through an intense commitment to safety, quality service, excellence, and partnerships.

Job Description
  • Adequately prepares for classroom instruction
  • Keeps students motivated and interested in the program and ensures students set realistic attainable goals
  • Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom
  • Accounts for students when they are under your responsibility
  • Maintains accurate student records and files
  • Adheres to all DOL, Company, Center and department guidelines
  • Adheres to the guidelines determined by outside agencies
  • Develops corrective action plans for students with deficiencies
  • Monitors statistical date related to GED test and scores
  • Develops instructional plans using TABE diagnostic for those students who do not meet the requirement
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possession of, or eligibility for, temporary teaching certification in the State in which the center is located
