Equity Sales Assistants are professionals who support equity sales teams within investment banks or brokerage firms. Their main duties include preparing presentations, handling client queries, processing trade orders, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and traders. They play an important role in helping sales teams manage client relationships and execute transactions efficiently. This position is often a stepping stone for those seeking to advance into sales or trading roles in the financial industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an equity sales assistant?

Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help you support sales teams and manage client relationships. These abilities are crucial for ensuring accurate trade execution, efficient workflow, and high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment.
