The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Equity Compensation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Execute daily equity transaction processing, including vesting, exercises, and related activities.
  • Administer monthly employee stock purchase plan processes globally.
  • Coordinate quarterly dividend processing and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Support stock administration activities, including granting and vesting events.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance of Fidelity's equity administration system, such as employee data updates, transaction validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage escalations using Salesforce from global service centers, HR, or employees related to stock plans and equity administration.
  • Update and maintain stock plan communication materials, procedures, and reference documentation.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, Finance and/or Accounting in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Two (2) years of global equity compensation experience
  • Proficiency in Workday and Fidelity's stock administration portal
  • Advanced Excel skills in data manipulation including pivot tables, V-lookups, advance-filters in order to perform audits, reconciliations, and complex calculations
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to think critically
  • Project management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to grasp accounting, tax, finance, and legal concepts

Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
Relocation: Not authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
