Job description

Bonnell Aluminum is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reliability and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and help us ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our equipment and systems.

As the Reliability and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability activities within our organization. You will play a critical role in managing maintenance teams, implementing reliability improvement strategies, and optimizing maintenance processes to ensure equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and safely.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate maintenance staff, including mechanics, technicians, and other relevant personnel.
  • Schedule and assign maintenance tasks and monitor their completion.
  • Identify and assess equipment reliability issues and develop strategies to address them.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plans and predictive maintenance techniques to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of equipment, identifying potential issues.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance and reliability budgets.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance data.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ability to follow and give high regard to both vendors and customer service.

What You'll Have to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline) or equivalent work experience.
  • Ten (10) + plus years industrial R&M experience and five (5) years of prior supervisory and budgetary experience is required. Proven experience in maintenance and reliability management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of equipment and machinery.
  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices and reliability improvement techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and data analysis tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
  • Due to the nature of manufacturing operations, the incumbent may be required to be on call and available for specific operations or projects.
