Job description

The Equipment Cleaning Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of tank trailer and ISO cleaning, including inspecting the trailer for residual product, and post-cleaning inspection of the interior/exterior of the trailer.

Location: 7800 Foundation Dr. Florence, KY 41042

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

Hourly Pay: $21.97 - $27.53

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and effectively perform all duties to prepare, clean and inspect tank trailers and ISO's, including but not limited to: vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per normal tank cleaning procedures.
  • Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment use in confined space rescue.
  • Complete paperwork for Confined Space Entry, shipping and receiving of cleaned units, and operation of facility software for TW tickets, billing, safety, etc.
  • Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all HTC Safety, Health, Environmental and Security Policy and Programs
  • Complies will all Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Complies with all applicable OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Complies with all applicable state and local environmental regulations.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

  • 1-2 years relevant experience preferred but not required.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) chemical information
  • Ability to operate yard truck to move equipment
  • Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business-related software.
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Mechanical ability and inclination

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • The following physical abilities, environments and equipment may be met during a typical working day:
    • Normal environment is outdoors.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Pushing pulling up to 50 to 100 lbs.
    • Confined space entry is required.
    • Must wear proper PPE.
