Equipment Technician Job Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical disassembly, troubleshooting, repair, and reassembly of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic rental equipment
  • Inspect repaired equipment to ensure proper operation, safety, and quality standards
  • Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs according to work orders
  • Follow verbal and written instructions to prepare and complete jobs efficiently
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from delivery trucks using proper lifting and handling techniques
  • Organize equipment and materials in the warehouse and work areas
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver rental and sales equipment
  • Complete deliveries safely and on schedule
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on company delivery vehicles
  • Check oil and fuel levels and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Report vehicle or equipment issues to the Warehouse Foreman

Equipment Technician Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, equipment repair, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial maintenance preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
  • Familiarity with air hoists, come-alongs, manual hoists, or electrical hoists is a plus
  • Forklift experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must meet company insurance requirements for operating company vehicles
