We are seeking an experienced Technology Product Owner to shape the future of retail lending and consumer financial systems. This Technology Product Owner will drive the vision and execution for critical teams supporting our credit card and associated platforms. Operating within the Retail Lending System Support Agile Release Train (ART), you will act as the crucial bridge between business strategy and technical execution. Your work will directly enhance our customer experience as you accelerate value delivery and lead the implementation of new technologies—including AI enablement and other cutting-edge digital tools. This is a phenomenal opportunity to step into a high-visibility role, foster cross-functional collaboration, and champion digital transformation across Zions Bancorporation.

Responsibilities:
  • Backlog & Epic Management:Develop, own, and rigorously manage team backlogs by creating and prioritizing Epics, Features, User Stories, and identifying risks, ensuring alignment with program roadmaps.
  • Agile Ceremony Leadership:Actively lead and participate in key team ceremonies (iteration planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives) serving as the primary proxy for the customer and business.
  • Value Delivery & Acceptance:Assess technical feasibility, prioritize crucial enabler work to maintain team velocity, and accept stories based on strict acceptance criteria and customer intent.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Alignment:Continuously engage with business, technology, and product management stakeholders to translate incoming features and overarching visions into actionable, well-defined requirements for your teams.
  • Systems Analysis & Design:Lead the analysis and implementation of business systems by developing proposals for new processes, gathering requirements, and designing user acceptance test plans based on end-user needs.
  • Mentorship:Champion agile methodologies, ensure adherence to EPMO standards, and actively assist teams in maturing their practices while fostering a culture of transparency and trust.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of proven experience driving strategic product creation, accelerating value delivery, and utilizing innovative product development practices (e.g., MVP, lean startup, design-thinking).
  • Demonstrated success as a Product Owner in a large enterprise environment, utilizing scaling practices to build complex, cross-functional solutions.
  • Advanced, hands-on mastery of Agile frameworks, Scrum methodologies, and large-scale ceremonies (PI Planning, PO Sync, ART Sync, Inspect & Adapt) necessary to hit the ground running.
  • Exceptional facilitation, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to leadership and drive necessary mindset shifts across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047
