Personal Lines Account Manager

This is an opportunity to join an established, independent insurance agency serving the Mason and broader Michigan market for nearly 80 years. The agency operates with a nine-person team and provides both personal and commercial lines coverage. This position is open due to sustained service demand and backlog. The agency is experiencing increased service volume, endorsement processing delays, quoting strain, and phone coverage challenges. A strong hire directly impacts retention, responsiveness, and operational stability. This is not a sales-only role. This is a true servicing and account management position.

The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for day-to-day servicing of personal lines clients. This includes quoting, re-quoting, endorsements, payment processing, inbound call handling, and general account maintenance. The role requires hands-on daily use of Applied Epic. System proficiency is not optional. This position exists to: • Reduce service backlog • Improve endorsement turnaround • Support quoting responsiveness • Strengthen client retention • Relieve operational strain on ownership

Key Responsibilities

• Process policy endorsements accurately and efficiently • Handle policy changes and updates • Provide coverage explanations to clients • Support renewals and policy adjustments

• Quote new personal lines policies • Re-quote existing accounts • Work with multiple carriers • Ensure competitive placement

• Accept and process client payments • Maintain accurate documentation

• Answer inbound client calls • Support general front-office coverage • Assist with walk-in inquiries
