Job description

Title: Epic Provisioning Analyst


Location: Work from Home


Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 4:00PM EST


Note: This is a W2 contract position; C2C, 1099, and 3rd party candidates WILL NOT be considered


This position will serve as a member of the Identity and Access Management Team, which is the gatekeeper for the Identity Management System, creating Epic accounts and provisioning for users in accordance with Epic Security policies. The Epic Provisioning Analyst will be expected to understand and maintain Epic software security structures, utilizing an in-depth understanding of access processes and procedures, along with the ability to apply that understanding to supporting Epic, directly benefiting the patientcare and/or business functions.


Job Duties:


·         Responsible for user access management, user provisioning, de-provisioning, and troubleshooting user issues and maintenance in accordance with controls that govern Identity Access and Management

·         Acting as customer liaison, working with end-users or business contacts to understand their access/security needs and communicate their requirements and timelines

·         Performing tasks for Epic security initiatives while adhering to Epic security policies and procedures

·         Researching, analyzing, and providing solutions to routine access issues with general direction from supervisors

·         Collaborating with the Identity and Access Management Team to ensure that access management is working within established security guidelines and is in adherence with policies/procedures

·         Ensuring Epic training is completed and required approvals are obtained before granting user access to the Epic system

·         Identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency and enhanced security for work processes, with general direction from supervisors/managers, as needed

·         Contributing to 24/7 on support call coverage


Job Qualifications:


·         A minimum of 1 year of direct Epic work experience preferred

·         Working knowledge of data courier preferred

·         Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills, including strong customer service skills

·         Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks

·         A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant field OR 2 years of relevant direct Epic work experience required; Epic Security Coordinator Certification highly preferred
