Epic Continuous Educator (Onsite)

Epic Continuous Educator, Onsite in Broward County Job Summary: Plans, develops, and delivers skills, knowledge and technology-related training programs for NCH which are designed to expand the knowledge and skills of participants and to enhance overall employee competency and productivity. Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education, Nursing, Health Care or a related field required. Three years of training/work experience, preferably including training implementation. Experience in a health-care related environment is desirable.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of the concepts, standards and practices relating to adult learning, continuing education and educational effectiveness. Knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for delivering formal and informal training programs and evaluating their effectiveness. Ability to develop/customize curricula, course content/outlines, training tools, participant materials and related documentation. Ability to express ideas and convey technical information effectively in verbal and written communication, and in group training presentations. Ability to incorporate adult learning principles into the planning and development of lesson plans and user guides for training classes. Knowledge of the activities associated with the design, delivery and evaluation of effective computer training programs. Knowledge, at an advanced level, of the features and functionality of Microsoft Office products and other desktop applications. Ability to provide effective direct technical assistance to users in the operation and use of computer applications. Ability to assess organizational and individual needs to learning objectives and devise effective training solutions. Ability to read, understands, interpret and apply technical manuals and documentation. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position.
