Job description

EPIC PROVIDER SUPER USERS

Pay Rate: $75/hr

Duration: 3 months (5-7 WEEKS)

Start Date: August 3rd for training (3 hour long town halls + 3 hrs of reading materials), October 3rd onsite for go live

once onsite, they will work 50-55 hrs/week

Number of Openings: 7

  • 5 OBGYN/Mother Baby Supporters (Stork)
  • 2 Radiology Supporters (Radiant)

Shift:

Shift-based coverage including evenings, nights, and weekends

(Most shifts will be Monday through Friday, daytime hours)

50-55 hours a week when onsite

Must Haves:

• Prior Epic go-live or At-the-Elbow support experience. We are specifically seeking APPs/NPs – not general ATE support. Experienced nurses are also very good in this role. Physician/APPs are preferred but we will accept other clinicians for interview.

AAP (Advanced practitioners)

NP (nurse practitioners)

Rn (Registered nurses)

• Experience supporting physicians and APPs in clinical workflows

• Strong understanding of Epic provider workflows

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Experience in either Stork or Radiant

Preferred Experience

• Prior Epic training or clinical informatics experience

• Epic certification or credentialing (preferred but not required)

• Practiced medicine in Epic within the last 3-5 years

Day-to-Day:

Resources will provide real-time support to physicians and advanced practice providers during go-live. Responsibilities include assisting with Epic navigation, documentation workflows, order entry, troubleshooting user issues, reinforcing training, and escalating issues to the command center as needed.
