A Day in the Life

This position is a five-day-a-week on-site position based out of our regional listed office location(s), from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

The Account Manager Assistant provides support to the Account Management team with assistance in various duties, such as processing carrier endorsements, carrier cancellations, claim follow up, email distribution from department inbox, download reports, client ID cards, mortgage evidence of insurance, etc.

As our Account Manager Assistant on the Personal Lines Insurance team, you'll take part in

  • Process day-to-day requests received from internal and external clients.
  • Process policy change requests/endorsements such as adding vehicles, adding mortgagee clauses and additional insureds as a result of the certificate requests
  • Update agency management system when required by specific task of the change (non-download items).
  • Assist with the timely renewals and processing of policies
  • Facilitating with answering internal phone calls
  • Provide administrative support while handling front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors, managing phone calls and maintaining a welcoming office environment

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-40 Florida insurance license required within 90 days of hire
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • At least one year of insurance agency experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Active and current 2-20 insurance license
  • Experience with EPIC, Sagitta, and Image Right
