We are seeking an experienced Project Manager at our Ft Lauderdale office.

What you will do:

  • Manage multiple retail and grocery construction projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Review contracts, project documents, and construction plans to ensure project compliance and execution requirements are clearly understood.
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and award subcontract agreements.
  • Review and develop subcontractor scopes of work to ensure complete project coverage.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of construction.
  • Lead project meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and communicate project updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Review, prepare, and manage change orders.
  • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, cost reports, project budgets, and overall financial performance.
  • Support preconstruction and estimating efforts, including material take-offs and constructability reviews.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, tenants, and key project stakeholders.
  • Identify and proactively resolve project challenges to minimize risk and maintain project momentum.

What you will need to be successful:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $100K - $8M.
  • Strong preference for candidates with retail and grocery construction experience, including ground-up, expansion, renovation, and occupied-space projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects from conception through successful completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project controls, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to perform material take-offs and review construction estimates.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the South Florida construction market preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
