Summary
Executes EHR specific site discovery, education, support, and user analysis to Parkview Health and Connect Clients with a focus on new EHR implementation needs. Travels on-site to new facilities and clients to complete Pre-Go-Live education, including Site Discovery, Classroom Training, and other Pre-Go-Live Readiness needs. Remains on-site to support end users during Go-Live Phase of EHR Implementation. When not on a traveling assignment, will support core EHR Training needs at the Parkview Education Center. Promotes consistent documentation standards, while acting as a liaison on behalf of provider/clinical EHR users. Methods of education include, but are not limited to, educator-led classroom courses, webinars, online courses, and one-on-one education sessions. Performs Instructional Design duties by evaluating, adapting, and developing instruction based on learner needs. Provides hospital and physician-based practice support. Exhibits a learning approach in achieving knowledge proficiency in Epic and other EHR from a functional perspective, while implementing ongoing tactics for knowledge sustainment. Works directly with EHR Instructional Designers to coordinate education needs, feedback, and facilitate education to end users. Responsible to work with providers, clinical, and other staff to help navigate and optimize usage of the EHR and other technology based needs. Collaborates with end users throughout the health system, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in application functionality or workflow processes related to the Electronic Health Record. Education
Minimum requirement of a Associate's degree in healthcare, education, information technology, or related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Epic Credentialing Status obtained in 1 application, within 2 months of hire. Status must remain up-to-date. Must remain current with all versions of the electronic health record. Valid Driver's license required.
