Position: Construction Safety Manager
Industry: Utility Scale EPC Solar Projects
Job Description:
As a Construction Safety Manager on Utility Scale EPC Solar Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel involved in the construction process. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe work environment and implementing effective safety programs to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures specific to utility scale EPC solar projects.
2. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety measures into project plans and schedules.
4. Provide safety training and orientation to all personnel, including subcontractors and vendors, to promote a culture of safety awareness.
5. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in construction safety management, preferably in utility scale EPC solar projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage personnel at all levels.
