PROJECT MANAGER EPC

CANUSA EPC LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager I to lead the successful execution of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects within the upstream, midstream, and industrial oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a background in mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering, along with demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary EPC projects.

The ideal candidate will have510 yearsof experience inengineering and projectmanagement roles supportingoil & gas facilities, pipelines, compression, gas processing, andrelated infrastructureprojects. The ProjectManager I willbe responsible forleading projects throughall phases ofexecution including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioningsupport, and projectcloseout while servingas the primarypoint of contactfor clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internalproject teams.

The Project ManagerI is responsiblefor planning, budgeting,forecasting, documenting, and overseeing thesuccessful execution ofEPC projects whileensuring project objectivesrelated to safety, quality, schedule, scope, andprofitability are achieved. This role requiresstrong leadership, commercialawareness, technical understanding, and the abilityto coordinate multidisciplinaryengineering, procurement, construction, automation, and operations teams.

This position will also serve as a client-facing representative of CANUSA EPC LLC, supporting business development activities, maintaining existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and preparing proposals and estimates for future work. The Project Manager I may be required to travel to customer sites, project locations, fabrication facilities, construction sites, industry events, and client meetings throughout the United States and Canada

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate effectivelywith Clients, Vendors, Contractors, and ProjectStakeholders
• Develop and executeProject Execution Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, Risk Registers, andProject Documentation
• Plan, oversee, andmanage Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, and Commissioningactivities
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and overall financialperformance
• Develop and maintainproject schedules usingMicrosoftProject or equivalentscheduling software
• Develop TIC estimates, project forecasts, cashflow projections, andproject performance reports
• Lead multidisciplinary engineeringteamsto ensure timelycompletion of projectdeliverables
• Manage procurement activitiesincluding bid evaluations, vendorselection, purchase orders, equipment expediting,logistics, and vendorperformance
• Coordinate fabrication activitiesand monitor supplierprogress to ensureproject schedulecompliance
• Oversee construction planning, contractor coordination, field execution, andproject turnover
• Participate in constructabilityreviews, HAZOPs, design reviews, and project riskassessments
• Coordinate commissioning, startup support, andproject closeout activities
• Manage project changecontrol,contract modifications,and client-directedscope changes
• Perform quality assuranceandquality control reviewsthroughout project execution
• Oversee subcontractor performanceand contract administration
• Ensure compliance withapplicable codes, clientspecifications, andCANUSA EPC LLCstandards
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, andclient presentations
• Responsible for successfulexecution of projectsfollowing CANUSA EPC LLCproject management processes
• Support business developmentactivities including proposalpreparation, EPC estimates, and client relationshipmanagement
• Promote CANUSA EPCLLC services andidentify opportunitiesfor additional work
• Mentor junior engineers, designers, and projectpersonnel
• Maintain compliance withCANUSA EPC LLCsafety policies whilepromoting a strongsafety culture
• Meet department productivity, utilization, and qualityobjectives
• Perform work inaccordance with CANUSAEPC LLC engineeringstandards, procedures,and policies
• Travel as requiredto project sites, fabrication facilities, construction sites, andclient meetings
• Willingness to worka flexible scheduleto support projectrequirements

Technical Duties andResponsibilities

• Review and coordinatemultidisciplinary engineeringdeliverables includingProcess, Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls
• Review and approvePiping & InstrumentationDiagrams (P&IDs), Plot Plans, EquipmentLayouts, and engineeringdesignpackages
• Generate and evaluatespecifications for pipingsystems, rotating equipment, compression equipment,process equipment, instrumentation, and packaged equipment
• Review vendor drawings, equipment submittals,and technical documentation
• Monitor vendor engineeringprogress and ensurecompliance with projectspecifications
• Coordinate engineering disciplinesthroughoutdetailed design
• Support equipment procurementactivities including technicalbid evaluations
• Conduct constructabilityreviews and fieldwalkdowns
• Interface with customerengineering, operations, construction, and maintenancepersonnel
• Provide technical guidanceand mentorship tojunior engineers anddesigners

Technical Skills andCompetencies

• Working knowledge ofASME B31 pipingcodes
• Proficient with P&IDs, Process FlowDiagrams(PFDs), Material BalanceDiagrams, and engineeringspecifications
• Experience reviewing pipingdesign and equipmentlayouts
• Familiarity with rotatingequipment, pumps,compressors, separators, vessels, and processequipment
• Familiarity with industrial electrical and control systems
• Working knowledge ofinstrumentation includingcontrol valves, pressurerelief valves, meters, analyzers, andfield instrumentation
• Experience reviewing engineeringcalculations and equipmentsizing
• Familiarity with processsimulation software suchas ProMax or AspenHYSYS
• Working knowledge ofNavisworks, Bluebeam, andAutoCAD

1. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 510 years of experience executing upstream, midstream, gas processing, refining, power generation, or industrial EPC projects
• Experience managing multidisciplinaryengineering, procurement, and construction projectswith TIC valuesranging from $1MMto $100MM+
• Previous experience withEPC contractors, EPCMfirms, owner/operators, producers, or midstreamcompanies
• Demonstrated experiencemanaging project budgets, schedules,procurement activities,subcontractors, and projectfinancial performance
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, regulatory and startup activities
• Previous experience inDesign Engineering, ConstructionManagement, Project Management, orOperations supporting oil& gas facilities andpipeline systems
• Business development andproposal experience preferred

1. EDUCATION / DESIGNATIONREQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of ScienceDegree inEngineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline)
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain licensure preferred
  
• Oil & Gas Construction or Operations knowledge
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Passport with eligibility to travel throughout the United States and Canada

The performance of this position requires a combination of office and field-based work and travel throughout Canada and North America. Travel to industrial facilities, fabrication shops, and project sites is expected. Certain work areas require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and flame-resistant clothing. For the most part, the employee will be subject to ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
