Job description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team at one of three locations: our headquarters in Denver, our location in Amherst (NH), or our location in Westborough (Boston, MA) and it will be a hybrid role. The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for delivering mid- to large-scale EPC infrastructure projects within the energy sector (Oil, Gas, and Electrical). This role leads multidisciplinary teams through engineering, procurement, and construction phases, with primary accountability for safety, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and contract performance.
ESSENTIAL PROJECT MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Lead full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure construction projects in accordance with the Campos EPC Project Management Process.
  • Manage large, multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction, project controls, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee construction planning, sequencing, and field execution.
  • Control project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management.
  • Perform the activities required to identify, define, combine, unify, and coordinate the various processes and project management activities including but not limited to those outlined in the Campos Project Management Process.
  • Execute the duties needed to ensure that projects of all sizes include all the required scope, and only the required scope, to successfully complete a project per the contract.
  • Perform the work required to plan, execute, monitor and control the timely completion of any size project assigned scope of work per the agreed upon and contractual schedule.
  • Understand interdependencies for all tasks on a project.
  • Perform work necessary to estimate, budget, verify funding, verify financing, manage monitor and control costs according to the approved budget on mid to large sized projects.
  • Manage the work so that it aligns with quality policies, procedures, objectives, and standards to meet both Campos EPC and client expectations within contract terms.
  • Analyze, estimate, recommend to the appropriate company leaders required resources and competencies with the project teams.
  • Perform and manage the work required to ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, monitoring, and the ultimate disposition of project information on mid to large size projects.
  • Manage any and all changes to scope, schedule and cost, including Campos internal changes and client changes.
  • Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling risk on mid to large size projects.
  • Conduct the work necessary to find, estimate, purchase, or acquire products, services, or results needed from outside of the project team including writing and managing Requests For Proposal events on mid to large size projects.
  • Perform the work required to identify the people, groups, or organizations that could impact or be impacted by the project; to analyze stakeholders’ expectations and their impact on the project; and to develop appropriate management strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in project decisions and execution.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Construction, Business, or related technical field preferred.
  • This position requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience, 7+ in Construction or Infrastructure Project Management position.
  • Proven experience delivering EPC or construction centric infrastructure projects in a large team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Candidates must have experience within either gas or electric utility work; ideally, both.
  • PMP Preferred or the ability to obtain PMP within 12 months of employment.
  • Travel 25% or less, mostly to job sites for site walks, etc.
  • Experience with field leadership, contract management, schedule/risk control, stakeholder/client interface are strongly preferred.
  • Safety (Osha 30 required).

SALARY: 140-165K/YR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
