Position Overview
The Imagery Scientist - EO Senior supports operational EO exploitation activities, imagery quality assessments, and analytical mission support functions. The selected candidate will assist with evaluating EO imagery products and providing technical expertise to operational and analytical teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with Electro-Optical (EO) imagery and exploitation methodologies.
  • Understanding of EO collection techniques, phenomenology, image formation processes, and exploitation products.
  • Experience with EO imagery quality metrics and sensor metadata.
  • Experience exploiting EO imagery to determine the occurrence and location of Objects of Interest (OOIs).
  • Ability to communicate EO capabilities and operational applications to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of remote sensing principles, imagery processing techniques, and advanced exploitation methodologies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience applying computer vision (CV), artificial intelligence (AI), or machine learning (ML) techniques to EO imagery analysis.
