This position will be required to work out of our New Castle, DE warehouse; this is not a remote role.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator specializing in Front End Loader operations to join our 3rd Shift team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator, specifically with front end loaders.
  • Strong commitment to safety, precision, and efficiency in operating heavy machinery.
  • Valid heavy equipment operator’s certification or relevant licensing.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and practices related to heavy machinery operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions when needed.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Successfully Operated front-end loader to move or transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, salt, snow or debris

Physical Requirements:

  • Inspect and fuel vehicle prior to beginning shift
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment daily
  • Work prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery
  • Work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary
  • Operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains
  • Lift 50 pounds at a time
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Job qualification requirements for this role:

  • Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
  • Vocational school training or apprenticeship
  • Ability to be flexible to support needs of manufacturing
  • Excellent mechanical skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
