The opportunity
Our Riparian team is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager, Government Pricing to join our consulting team. In this high-impact role, you will partner directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers across the United States, helping them navigate the increasingly complex Government Pricing and compliance landscape. Leveraging your expertise, you will advise on critical programmes, support strategic decision-making, and deliver solutions that ensure accuracy, compliance, and commercial optimisation.
As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will work closely with industry-leading clients and experienced colleagues to solve complex challenges, shape best practices, and drive meaningful value. This is an excellent opportunity for a Government Pricing professional looking to deepen their advisory capability, broaden their strategic exposure, and play a key role in supporting the growth and success of both our clients and Riparian.

Role responsibilities
  • Partner with clients to manage and operationalise U.S. Government Pricing programme requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Assess and quantify the financial impact of pricing methodology, policy, or data changes, including leading pricing restatements and providing clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Analyse large, complex datasets to generate meaningful insights, develop client-ready analytics, and support critical business and compliance decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality analyses, client presentations, and advisory reports that translate technical findings into clear commercial and operational implications.
  • Support the design, automation, and implementation of scalable processes and tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Government Pricing calculations.
  • Contribute to system implementation and optimisation efforts, including gathering, documenting, and translating business and functional requirements into effective solutions.
  • Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining strong client satisfaction.
  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business growth through proposal support, thought leadership, and identification of new advisory opportunities.
  • Maintain deep and current knowledge of Government Pricing regulations and compliance expectations, positioning yourself as a trusted subject matter expert to clients and internal stakeholders.

Do you have what we are looking for?
Skills & expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or a related discipline, with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in Government Pricing, compliance, or life sciences consulting.
  • Deep, practical knowledge of U.S. Government Pricing regulations and compliance requirements, with demonstrated experience advising on regulatory interpretation and operational application.
  • Strong expertise in Government Pricing methodologies and calculation mechanics, including Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP), Non-Federal AMP (NFAMP), Unit Rebate Amount (URA), and 340B pricing, as well as associated reporting obligations.
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret large, complex datasets, with advanced proficiency in data and analytical tools such as SQL, MS Access, and Excel to support pricing calculations, validation, and strategic insights.
  • Solid understanding of life sciences commercial contracting, including manufacturer relationships with wholesalers, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and the downstream impact on Government Pricing.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality client outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support client engagements and business development activities.

Salary range: $125,590 - $163,268
The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities.
