Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Environmental Lab Technician - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform environmental testing of lighting products, measure outcomes, evaluate data, and provide routine troubleshooting support. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Performs environmental testing of lighting products in accordance with established company, customer, industry, and regulatory standards and specifications. 
  • Monitors progress of testing and measures outcomes. 
  • Reviews and evaluates the results of testing to ensure completeness and accuracy. 
  • Reports the results and analysis on the proper documentation. 
  • Assists in and/or performs troubleshooting of defective equipment. 
  • Works in conjunction with QC and Production personnel in achieving the overall team objective. 

The salary range for this position is $46,500 - $68,400 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

Your Background 

  • High School Diploma or GED, plus 4 to 6 years of experience in a related position OR
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of experience in a related position. 

Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Process Control is preferred.
