Job description

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is searching for talented scientists and engineers with interest in custom electronics development, microelectronics, and systems security development to join our Microelectronics Technology Operation (MTO). We are looking for individuals capable of out-of-the-box thinking, with an innovative mindset and the ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary engineering teams. MTO is involved in the development and analysis of protective technology capabilities and products, advancing the state-of-the-art for the Department of War in areas ranging from secure microelectronics packaging to board-level electronics development to system-level security for weapons systems. MTO is looking for a Senior Test Engineer with the skillset to handle all stages of verification testing, qualification testing, and production testing of embedded electronic subsystems: from interpreting design requirements to test planning and execution (generate formal test procedures for embedded systems, specification on any required special test equipment, generation of formal test reports). The ideal candidate will be familiar with best test practices involved in environmental testing, EMI testing, and production test environments. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with hardware and software design engineer(s) to tailor testing for embedded hardware prototype designs, ensuring the design is ready for formal verification and qualification testing, and navigating the debug and correction of any failures. Must work well as part of small, fast-paced and mission-driven team(s). Requirements: * B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field with 10+ years direct experience testing embedded systems
* Familiarity with flight qualification requirements (e.g. MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, etc)
* Demonstrated expertise executing at senior levels as a Test Engineer, generating relevant test artifacts and results: able to analyze requirements, create test procedures providing appropriate test coverage at the design verification, qualification and production acceptance testing stages, and generate formal results reports
* Ability to coordinate with external lab services for independent qualification testing Desirable Qualifications / Skills (some or all would be viewed positively): * Advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field with 20+ years of relevant work experience
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance for access to classified information
* Entrepreneurial mindset - propose new ideas, processes, tools and solutions
