In this role, you'll be on the front lines of environmental stewardship—managing hazardous waste, supporting compliance, and responding to real-world environmental challenges. Whether you're launching your career or looking to grow in the environmental space, this is an opportunity to gain meaningful experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform site inspections to identify, characterize, and segregate waste streams
  • Load/unload drums, containers, and bulk materials using safe handling practices
  • Maintain accurate manifests, logs, and compliance documentation
  • Operate service vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Respond to spill cleanups and environmental incidents, supporting emergency response efforts
  • Collect waste samples for profiling, classification, and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure timely and compliant waste movement
  • Maintain clean, organized work environments and equipment
  • Collaborate with internal teams and interact professionally with clients across R&D, pharmaceutical, and industrial facilities

What You Bring

  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (Required)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and handle physical, hands-on work
  • Solid communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Any experience with hazardous waste management, environmental field work, or waste collection
  • Familiarity with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations
  • Experience with spill response or environmental incident management
  • Knowledge of environmental sampling and waste profiling

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Entry-level friendly – great opportunity to break into the environmental field
  • Hands-on, field-based work—no two days are the same
  • Exposure to cutting-edge R&D and pharmaceutical environments
  • Direct impact on environmental safety and sustainability efforts
  • Opportunity to gain highly sought-after certifications and real-world experience
