Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team!
Key responsibilities include:
  • Perform routine operations, maintenance and monitoring of remediation systems.
  • Troubleshoot remediation system operational issues
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling
  • Collect site data and provide documentation for site activities
  • Provide contractor oversight for routine tasks and non-routine projects
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project team to execute field investigations and system optimization initiatives.

Key Expectations:
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Clean driving record important
  • Prior experience in an environmental field preferred
  • Prior experience with pumps and piping systems preferred
  • Ability to work independently, outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions, typical of midwest US.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma, or equivalent, and typically 2+ years of related work experience preferred. May be required to attend:
* 40-hour OSHA training course (with an annual 8-hour update).
* OSHA-10 hr (General or Construction).
* First aid, CPR, AED, and on site safety training

Salary Range: $19.86 - $34.76
