Job description


As a Program Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead and manage engineering programs within the aerospace sector. Your ability to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams will help align projects with business goals and customer requirements. By developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, you will ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
You will report directly to our Program Director and you'll work out of our Lansdale, PA location. This position requires working on-site. We do work a 9/80 work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of aerospace engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage aerospace/defense programs to ensure successful execution and delivery
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices
Qualifications
US PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
• 6+ years of experience in Program management or Engineering roles within aerospace or related fields
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex aerospace engineering projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership and project management skills specific to aerospace programs
• Experience with aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies relevant to aerospace engineering
