Job Title: Business System Analyst with Product Modelling
Location: Sunnyvale,CA
Duration: Long Term
Duties: Job Summary: Leads Product Catalogue and Product Master solution designs with cross functional teams. Partner with Business Groups to ensure delivery of applications aligned to the business and IT strategy, as well as the support of those applications. Work with Business Groups to define their global IT requirements and to analyze appropriate solutions. Manage projects from inception to completion with matrix, global teams
Key Responsibilities:
Cross Functional Architecture Design
Provide data architecture thought leadership to cross-functional teams, with special focus on Product, Product Catalogue, Product Master
Design, publish and maintain project architecture documentation
Ensure alignment of Quote to Case process between cross functional teams, through the delivery of details architecture designs (for business and technical teams)
Product Catalogue Design & Maintenance
Review AS-IS product data model (including product catalogue) and propose next generation models
Define roadmap for modernisation of product catalogue and of product master solutions
Provider guidance to programme on industry standards and state of the art product master tools and processes. Knowledge of Oracle Product Data Hub is relevant (or other industry leading Product Master tools).
Knowledge of product master tools. Example: Oracle Product Data Hub; STIBO; Informatica;
Vendor & Application Technology Evaluation
Executes medium-scale vendor evaluations, pricing negotiations and software acquisitions
Prepares management communications and gets stakeholder input for recommendations
Solution Design
Responsible to design and document cross-functional and global solutions, drawing on functional expertise of functional and technical team members or vendors, as appropriate
Advises on solutions prepared by peers or supporting team, and champions good design practices
Business Requirements Analysis
Partners with business stakeholders to analyze, define and document business requirements, within and across functional areas
Drives best practices during requirements gathering and modeling
Has a strong focus on gathering core requirements, beyond stated requirements and correctly places these within a broader context
Understands business environment and helps to connect/align relevant business stakeholders
Process Modeling and Design
Partners with business stakeholders to analyze, define and document business processes within and across functional areas
Drives best practices during requirements gathering and modeling

Development Team Partnership
Partner closely with development teams, going to as much technical detail as necessary to ensure viable and valuable solutions are delivered.
