About the Opportunity

Our client is a growing and well-established insurance organization seeking a Select Account Manager to support a high-volume portfolio of small commercial accounts. This position is ideal for an organized, service-oriented insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong client relationships while managing multiple priorities.

The Select Account Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service, managing policy renewals, processing policy changes, and supporting overall account retention through efficient and accurate account management.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial insurance clients

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests

  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and account updates

  • Resolve billing inquiries and policy-related issues

  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive and responsive service

Renewal Management
  • Manage the renewal process from start to finish using established timelines and procedures

  • Prepare renewal documentation and coverage comparisons

  • Review coverage options and provide recommendations to clients as appropriate

  • Coordinate with internal teams and carrier partners on renewal strategies and market reviews

  • Assist clients in addressing carrier inspection recommendations and requirements

Policy Administration
  • Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and policy modifications

  • Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Maintain detailed account records and documentation within the agency management system

  • Ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements

Workflow & Productivity
  • Successfully manage a high-volume book of commercial accounts

  • Prioritize daily workload to meet service standards and deadlines

  • Maintain accuracy while balancing multiple tasks and competing priorities

  • Contribute to operational efficiency through consistent execution of established workflows

Team Collaboration
  • Partner with internal support staff and account management teams to ensure excellent client service

  • Collaborate with carrier partners and internal departments as needed

  • Escalate complex service or coverage issues when appropriate

  • Support overall team goals and departmental performance initiatives

Qualifications
  • 2 to 5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience, preferably supporting small commercial accounts

  • Active Property & Casualty License required or ability to obtain

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Experience with agency management systems preferred
