EVDD is customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial, and data-driven and is dedicated to delivering industry-leading customer experience for electric vehicle buyers and owners. You'll join an agile team of doers pioneering our EV future by working collaboratively, staying focused on only what matters, and delivering excellence day in and day out. Join us to make positive change by helping build a better world where every person is free to move and pursue their dreams.

You'll have...

  • Assessment-capable knowledge of ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and/or ISO 8800, with ability to evaluate evidence, document gaps, and drive corrective/preventive actions.

  • Ability to build or govern dashboards, metrics, traceability checks, and audit automation using data-driven methods.

  • Experience applying quality predictive analytics, including trend analysis, leading indicators, risk modeling, and preventive action planning.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder alignment, and process adoption skills across cross-functional engineering teams.

Even better, you may have...

  • Python scripting preferred.

  • Experience with workflow automation, test management systems, defect tracking, evidence pipelines, or compliance reporting.

  • Exposure to AI-enabled safety practices or quality analytics for complex automotive systems.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:

Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage

This position requires an assessment-capable engineer who can evaluate compliance, improve process maturity, automate audit readiness, and apply quality predictive analytics to identify risk before it affects program delivery.

In this position...

The V&V Governance QOS Engineer is a technical role responsible for strengthening Verification & Validation governance, process alignment, assessment readiness, and quality analytics. The role aligns V&V execution to FAP03-149, applicable Ford FAP/QOS procedures, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and, where applicable, ISO 8800.

What you'll do...

  • Define, maintain, and improve V&V QOS processes, governance routines, templates, and assessment criteria aligned to FAP03-149, Ford FAP/QOS procedures, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and ISO 8800 where applicable.

  • Map Agile execution artifacts to formal DV/PV and Software Test Plan expectations, including requirement applicability, SME reviews, milestone timing, evidence retention, regulatory controls, and deviation handling.

  • Own end-to-end traceability rules and automate checks for missing links, incomplete evidence, stale data, and assessment readiness gaps.

  • Lead tool confidence and evidence governance for systems used to create, manage, or report verification evidence.

  • Develop dashboards, KPIs/KRIs, audit automation, and quality predictive analytics to identify leading indicators, defect escape risk, evidence risk, and milestone readiness concerns.

  • Drive corrective/preventive actions, process adoption, training, and stakeholder alignment across V&V, quality, safety, software, and program teams.
