About the Role: Recycling Technician
As a Recycling Technician, you'll be an essential part of our sustainability initiatives. You'll help manage waste streams, support recycling programs, and keep our facility safe and environmentally responsible. This is hands-on work with real impact!
What You'll Do
  • Collect, sort, dispose of, and help ship recyclable, hazardous, and non-hazardous materials
  • Operate recycling and material-handling equipment, including forklifts, balers, compactors, drum haulers, and pallet jacks
  • Inspect and sort materials by type, size, condition, and grade
  • Maintain recycling and storage areas to meet GMP, OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on recycling methods and regulations
  • Report gaps or issues to the Environmental Technician
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and always safety-focused
  • Jump in where needed-"other duties as assigned" is a team-player mindset!

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year manufacturing experience (regulated/GMP environment preferred)
  • 1+ year of forklift experience
  • RCRA & Hazardous Waste Management Certification
  • DOT Hazardous Materials Management Certificate
  • Ability to adapt to rotating assignments and work with a sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills across diverse teams
  • Understanding of GMPs & OSHA requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
