Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the institution's annual operating budget.
  • Support financial forecasting and long-range planning initiatives.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual results and prepare variance reports.
  • Generate ad hoc financial reports and provide analytical support to leadership and department managers.
  • Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Serve as a backup resource for Accounts Payable functions as needed.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of FP&A processes and reporting tools.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0โ€“2 years of accounting, finance, budgeting, or analytical experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or practical experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, or financial reporting.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, accounting software, or financial reporting tools.
  • Experience working with large datasets and preparing financial analyses.
