Job Summary 

Flare Construction LLC is hiring an entry-level Fleet and Facilities Yard Worker. The Fleet and Facilities Yard Worker is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the company yard and facility. This role involves organizing tools and materials, assisting with the movement of fleet and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe yard environment. The Yard Worker plays a key support role in ensuring readiness for project mobilization across Flare Construction's various divisions.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist with loading/unloading trucks, trailers, and equipment. 
  • Move and stage fleet vehicles, small tools, and materials for job mobilization. 
  • Clean and maintain yard areas, storage zones, and facility perimeters. 
  • Help conduct basic inspections on equipment returning from field use. 
  • Support minor facility tasks such as trash removal, signage, and lighting checks. 
  • Organize tools, inventory, and equipment under supervision of Yard Lead. 
  • Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. 
  • Assist with tracking and logging inbound and outbound materials or equipment. 
  • Support mobilization efforts by preparing gear and equipment for job sites. 
  • Maintain facility support functions to ensure projects have what they need when they need it. 
What You'll Bring

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Basic mechanical or construction knowledge (preferred). 
  • Ability to operate light equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer) a plus. 
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely with minimal supervision. 
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn. 

Education & Certifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred). 
  • Forklift certification (preferred or willingness to obtain). 
  • OSHA 10 Certification (preferred). 
  • Valid driver's license (required); CDL preferred but not required. 

Working Conditions 

  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly 
  • Work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. 
  • Stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for long periods.
