Job Description:
Looking for entry-level Web Applications Programmer to support data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and business process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist with gathering business requirements, performing data analysis, developing interactive dashboards, supporting system modernization efforts, and maintaining reporting solutions used by internal departments. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work with multiple data platforms and reporting tools. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to support operational and financial management systems while learning modern data integration technologies such as Informatica and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze data to identify business needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and functional specifications
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools
  • Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and integration activities
  • Support ongoing dashboard maintenance and enhancements
  • Assist with documentation of project requirements, workflows, and processes
  • Participate in testing system enhancements and validating results
  • Troubleshoot software issues and escalate complex issues when necessary
  • Maintain automated reports used by OWPB and District offices
  • Support analysis of financial management system issues

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project risk and issue tracking documentation
  • Learn and apply modernization and data integration practices
  • Enter and maintain accurate support data in tracking systems
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and documentation reviews
  • Communicate with internal users regarding support requests and issue updates
  • Work with tools such as Informatica and Snowflake to support reporting operations

Required Skills:

  • 1 to 3 years of IT experience in systems support or data analysis
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • Basic SQL and relational database knowledge
  • Experience with data querying, extraction, cleaning, and transformation
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic troubleshooting and software support experience
  • Understanding of system testing and validation processes
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent technical training or work experience accepted
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn modern data platforms and technologies
