Summary: Entry level through junior. NET business systems developer with database and web experience. Able to work with legacy. NET Framework 4.8, as well as newer .NET 8+, applications. UI design experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Assist in designing and developing software solutions to suit our business client's needs.
  • Debugging & Maintenance: Optimize, troubleshoot, test, and fix bugs in existing software.
  • Database Management: Utilize SQL to manage data, write queries, and interact with databases.
  • Collaboration: Not afraid to ask questions and build relationships to get access to the resources you need to complete tasks. Able to work in teams.
  • Documentation/Analysis: Proficient in reading through code bases and researching business processes.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.

Experience and Skills:

  • Languages: VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, MS SQL (other skills such as PowerShell and Python are a bonus)
  • Software platforms: .NET Framework 4.8+, .NET 8+, Web, Azure, SQL Server, Power BI
  • Software Frameworks/Technologies: ASP.NET Web Forms, SOAP APIs, ASP.NET Web APIs, Blazor, WinForms, Windows Services, MS SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Infrastructure: Windows IIS, Windows Services, SQL Server, Azure, GitHub

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in .NET, web, and database development.
  • Frontend Basics: Exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred. UI/UX Design experience is desirable.
  • Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and standard .NET and SQL Server IDE software (Visual Studio, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a high willingness to learn.

Work Schedule:

The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After an initial 90-day training period and upon management approval, there will be some flexibility for remote work.

Salary Range:

The salary for this position typically ranges from $24.00-$43.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
