Executive Assistant - Wealth Management Global Sales
The Executive Assistant for Wealth Management's Global Sales organization provides essential administrative support to the Head of Global Sales and sales leadership team and contribu tes to the growth of the business. This entry-level role focuses on executing established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and delivering general administrative support .
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages complex and heavy daily calendar s including meetings, appointments, conferences and outside engagements"
  • Coordinates travel arrangements for domestic and international travel and prepares travel itineraries
  • Prepares internal and external correspondences, reports and presentations
  • Coordinates meetings and assignments/events
  • Handles expense reporting
  • May work on special projects, such as gathering, inputting and compiling information for reports
  • May transcribe notes for senior management/executives
  • Maintains and organizes paper and electronic files
  • May greet or assist clients and/or vendors
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with the ability to learn new systems and tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • High attention to detail and a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 10 lbs.; hand trucks or carts may be used
Experience:
  • Previous administrative supportive experience or completion of professional administrative support training is required .
Work Environment
  • This is an in-office position. This person is expected to work onsite Monday-Friday to support effective collaboration, teamwork, and client service delivery.
Salary Range:
$61,500 - 98,300 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
