Bilingual Assistant Branch Manager (English / Spanish)

Providence, RI
$30.00 to $33.00 per hour

Job Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, progressive company! We are currently seeking a Bilingual Assistant Branch Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of all processes being completed within the affiliated branch. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager in the absence of the Branch Manager, to the CEO.

Job Responsibilities of the Bilingual Assistant Branch Manager

  • Prioritize recruitment responsibilities within the branch based on open orders and/or time-sensitive positions that need to be closed; facilitate morning meeting to assess orders, direct sales leads and recruiting activities, assess submittals and set priorities.
  • Contingent upon current open order status, recruit for open entry-level temp, mid-level and/or direct hire orders affiliated with the branch; Schedule candidate interviews and coordinate phone/travel/video logistics accordingly. Ensure a seamless and positive process for all involved (recruiter/candidate/hiring manager)
  • Assist in managing/oversee recruitment policies and procedures and onboarding of new temporary employees
  • Organize and coordinate branch office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Motivate and encourage team productivity while maintaining GreenKiss standards and personal standards.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialist team and prospective job placement candidates
  • Assist Branch Manager with maintaining and controlling a positive and interactive candidate experience through consistent process management, oversight of on-site staff & branch representatives within your operating territory, timely communications, and attention to detail
  • Assist Branch Manager in ensuring all branch personnel who do not have a financial metric obligation are satisfying all branch operations and policies and procedures are being properly executed; work with Branch Manager to create immediate developmental strategy when expectations have not been met
  • Follow the chain of command with respect to communicating potential creation/revision of tools to better assess employee retention, marketing, learning & development and/or action planning
  • Assist in developing tools/strategies to source candidates and continuously research alternative recruiting methods
  • Ensure all branch personnel are properly maintaining the company database per outlined procedures within the Avionte Front Office Guide; work with Branch Manager to create immediate developmental strategy when expectations have not been met
  • Ensure all inter-office operations and procedures are adhered to per company policy and procedure; develop action plan with Branch Manager to immediately rectify all identified issues
  • Empower branch personnel to consistently meet assigned goals on a daily basis; regularly recognize and award branch personnel for meeting/exceeding job expectations
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, counseling and promoting of personnel to ensure that a highly competent and professional branch staff is maintained. This includes disciplinary actions, up to and including termination, which all must be thoroughly documented by the Branch Manager.

Job Requirements of the Bilingual Assistant Branch Manager

  • Degree or equivalent management experience
  • Experience in talent acquisition and/or recruitment strongly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required (including MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to train, mentor and coach a team surrounding how to manage stress, maintain attention to detail, and effectively organize day-to-day tasks; experience with implementing team-building exercises
  • Proven ability to provide constructive feedback in an empowering, professional manner
  • Ability to adapt to changes in cases of emergency where the assistant branch manager would need to act/respond on behalf of the Branch Manager or in his/her absence on behalf of the regional/executive team
  • Ability to consistently and positively contribute to a strategic, changing work environment while prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Strong internet-research skills, social networking savvy preferred
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration and influencing skills in partnering with business units for projects and initiatives
