Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Service Management (ITSM) intern to support the administration, development, and continuous improvement of Parkview's ServiceNow platform and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. This position will receive compensation. The intern will assist with platform configuration, workflow development, incident and request management optimization, reporting, and end-user support while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise IT operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, and will be able to translate business requirements into intuitive, automated service delivery experiences. In terms of specific projects, the intern will be tasked with designing, building, and maintaining ITSM catalog items, forms, and request components to support service intake processes. Additionally, the intern will ensure that catalog items align with service definitions, user requirements, and ITSM best practices. The intern will also be required to develop client scripts, UI policies, data lookups, and form logic to enhance the request experience within the ServiceNow platform.

Key skills for this role include strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to gather and document requirements from a range of stakeholders. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities will also be essential. As for the work structure, the intern will be expected to work 24-40 hours per week, with required days spanning between 3-5 days per week. The internship will follow a 1st shift schedule.

Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. A specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship. A specific license and/or certification may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship. GPA of 3.0 or above. Submission of Cover Letter, Resume and Letter of Recommendation. Other qualifications may vary by department of internship.
