UI Designer
C² Technologies seeks a UI Designer to collaborate with instructional designers, web developers, and content editors to design responsive user interfaces for web-based training products. This role will also ensure that the user experience is optimal by applying principles of graphic design and user-centered design. This is an onsite or hybrid position.
Summary:
The UI Designer will design and implement accessible user interfaces, ensuring functionality across various platforms. This position will also contribute to the creation of wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes, collaborating with the design and development teams to provide an optimal user experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop responsive user interfaces for a variety of training products.
  • Design wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to support the development of user interfaces.
  • Apply graphic design principles, visual hierarchy, and typography to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure interfaces meet user needs and project requirements.
  • Participate in user testing and incorporate feedback into design revisions.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • BA/BS degree in graphic design, web design, user interface design, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a UI/UX designer or graphic artist.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) and web design tools.
  • Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and basic front-end concepts (HTML/CSS).

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Experience with mobile app design and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with eLearning courseware and learning management systems.

Tools & Software:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
