The Anthropology and Biology Departments share office space on the sixth floor of the Science and Engineering Hall.
Position Specific Summary
This is a joint position between the Anthropology and Biology Departments in the Science and Engineering Hall. Students will be hired to staff the front desk in the office. Tasks will include general administrative support such as office inventory, ordering, printing, and mail management. Special projects required of the position include department communications (Canva, the newsletter, posters...). Students may also be required to attend and work department events as long as it fits within weekly scheduled hours.
Standard Position Description
The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the the office or department. Tasks may include: assembling materials, filing, photocopying, giving directions or information, responding to phone or email inquiries, scanning and/indexing documents, light data entry, and other general office tasks. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.
