The Specialized Trading Operations Team supports the daily trading activity of Charles Schwab Trust Bank's (CSTB) institutional retirement clients. The team engages in various forms of trading including mutual funds, equities, ETFs, alternative investments, and non-registered securities. The team also engages with fund companies to enter into new trading agreements, amend existing contracts, and maintain the division's security master. In addition, the team is responsible for the coordination and execution of special handling events with fund companies.
As an entry level position on the team with an initial role of managing an ETF trading product, the Trading Operations Associate will be responsible for monitoring and assisting in the successful execution of trades for retirement clients. In this fast-paced role the employee will have the opportunity to work across the team and with clients and gain an understanding of both the retirement industry and equity markets. Over time the associate will have the ability to learn various function across the Specialized Trading Operations team as well engage in projects benefiting the team and department. With the opportunity to review and enhance processes, you have the ability to leave a mark on a growing business unit in an industry leader with opportunities for growth and promotion.
