Job description

The Investment Manager Services Unit (IMS) is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Institutional Private Client - Trade Settlements team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional front-middle-and back
office solutions to investment managers. This is an entry level position, where training and support will be provided. As an IPC Settlements Analyst, you serve as the record keeper for trades; you will be responsible for reviewing and processing trade settlements, confirmations, and life cycle
events.


What you will do:

  • You will work closely with clients, counterparties, custodian banks, and prime brokers to ensure timely settlement of trades. To do this, you will ensure that our clients' trades are captured correctly in the portfolio accounting system and within the trading system; set up accurate account and broker instructions in vendor applications.
  • You perform analyses of processed transactions that have occurred within the trading system; including researching failed trades and reviewing and resolving differences relating to intra-system reconciliations.
  • You will communicate with clients' teams and internal teams to resolve open issues and questions, reaching out to internal technology support and vendor support when necessary to resolve any production issues or system support queries.

What we need from you:

  • BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Internship experience preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • The self-motivation, organization and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.
  • Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your clients and other service providers.
