JOB OVERVIEW:

Dynasty Financial Partners is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join the firm as an Assistant Vice President, Trading & Platform Analyst. Reporting directly to SVP, Managed Accounts and Investment Operations, this role serves as a frontline resource within Dynasty's TAMP (Turnkey Asset Management Platform) ecosystem, responsible for trade error resolution, trading platform technology integrations, and advisor education on rebalancing tools. The AVP, Trading & Platform Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Trading & Operations team, Technology, Compliance, and Advisor Relations to ensure seamless execution across Dynasty's trading infrastructure. This individual will also partner with advisors and network partners to deliver training on rebalancer platforms and support day-to-day operational workflows. This role is an in-office position.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advisor Training & Education

  • Design and deliver training programs, guides, and materials to help advisors effectively use rebalancer tools within the Dynasty TAMP ecosystem.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions (virtual and in-person) for new and existing advisor teams onboarding to the platform.
  • Develop and maintain a library of training resources including quick-reference guides, recorded walkthroughs, and FAQ documentation.
  • Act as an accessible subject matter expert for advisors navigating day-to-day trading workflows and rebalancing best practices.
  • Gather advisor feedback to continuously improve training content and platform usability.


Trade Error Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for identifying, investigating, and resolving trade errors across Dynasty's TAMP platform.
  • Coordinate with custodians and internal teams to correct and document trade discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a trade error log and develop root cause analyses to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Escalate complex or high-impact errors to the manager and work cross-functionally to implement corrective action plans.
  • Ensure all trade error resolutions are handled in compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.


Technology Integration & Trading Platform Support

  • Support the onboarding and integration of trading platforms and rebalancer tools within the Dynasty TAMP ecosystem, including but not limited to Vestmark, Envestnet, iRebal or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors and internal IT/operations teams to troubleshoot integration issues and data feed discrepancies.
  • Document system workflows, integration specifications, and technical procedures to support operational consistency and scalability.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for system upgrades, new platform rollouts, and API integrations.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies in current trading workflows and propose technology-driven solutions.


Operational Support & Reporting

  • Support daily trading operations and act as a backup resource during high-volume periods or staff absences.
  • Prepare and distribute operational reports related to trading activity, error metrics, and platform utilization.
  • Assist in building and maintaining SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to trading operations and advisor support.
  • Contribute to special projects as directed by the manager, including platform enhancements, new advisor onboardings, and strategic initiatives.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:


Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in trading operations, wealth management, or financial services technology.
  • Hands-on experience with rebalancer tools.
  • Working knowledge of TAMP structures, model-based investing, and advisor trading workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex trade discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical advisor audience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools.


Preferred

  • Experience within a TAMP, RIA, or custodial platform environment.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and financial technology data feeds (FIX protocol, CSV/XML imports, etc.).
  • Experience developing training curricula or conducting formal advisor education programs.
  • Familiarity with Dynasty Financial Partners' platform and ecosystem.
