We are hiring a Warehouse and Operations Coordinator on behalf of our client, a leading international supplier and manufacturer of specialized scientific instrumentation and software. The position supports warehouse management, shipping logistics, equipment service coordination, and administrative customer support for specialized medical and scientific technology.
Location: Chantilly, VA
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm
Compensation: $50,000K-$60,000K
Responsibilities
- Administer service contracts, renewals, and client requests, serving as the main liaison between customers, sales staff, and service technicians.
- Oversee client repair requests and service tickets from initial receipt through to successful completion.
- Coordinate in-house equipment repairs, ensuring hardware is tested, documented, and returned to clients efficiently.
- Prepare, configure, and maintain computers and related technical devices for internal and external customer use.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment and an accurate inventory of instruments, spare parts, and consumables.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing domestic and international shipments, including courier bookings, customs/shipping documentation, and tracking.
- Manage trade show equipment and marketing assets, ensuring materials are maintained, stored, and delivered on schedule.
- Produce monthly KPI reports covering operational metrics such as incoming inventory, outbound freight, and completed repairs.
- Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities to enhance logistics efficiency, workflows, and service delivery.
Qualifications and Key Skills
- Prior professional experience in operations, service coordination, logistics, warehouse management, or business customer support.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven capability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience coordinating client requests or tracking operational workflows from initiation through completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and international internal teams.
- Experience maintaining precise database records and generating operational reports using Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving paired with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing positively to a wider team culture.
- Preferred experience or familiarity with troubleshooting technical hardware, warehouse stock control, courier booking systems, or trade show coordination.
