Job description

Patriot Towers University, a paid training program designed to develop aspiring Tower Technicians, is currently accepting new candidates. No prior experience needed. With paid training, we will teach you the safest and best methods of tower climbing, as well as tower technology.

Coursework covers safety, basic rigging and fall protection, principles of electricity, fiber optics, wireless technology, cell components and antenna basics. COMPENSATION: $20-$24 based on experience Weekly per diem checks issued where room and board is applicable. Job Description Tower Techs must be able to adhere to rigid safety standards while ensuring quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Once training is completed, jobs will include various aspects of tower construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You may be climbing in excess of 300 ft. in all weather conditions, with the exception of hazardous situations.

Tower Techs travel Monday through Friday and are home on weekends. Patriot Towers University Qualifications NO PRIOR TOWER CLIMBING EXPERIENCE NEEDED. A good attitude and willingness to learn.

Candidates must also have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Additional Information All candidates are subject to pre-employment background and drug screenings and must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. Candidates should have the ability to learn how to climb heights greater than 300 feet and must be able to travel overnight during the week and over weekends as needed.

A clean driving record is required, and you must be able to pass random drug screens. Overtime hours at a time-and-a-half pay rate are frequently available.
