About the role:
The Office Manager serves as the point person to ensure overall organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for streamlining office administrative procedures, supporting the design, marketing, and operations staff, and ensuring adequate supplies for all office needs.
This role would optimally be filled by an energetic and connecting professional who is capable of performing many different tasks and handling multiple priorities. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting staff in multiple offices at all levels.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and manages all company travel needs and requests (i.e., conferences, retreats, etc.). Coordinates itineraries for staff as needed.
  • Manages calendars and appointments for company events and large or company-wide meetings. .
  • In-office point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, and some contract needs, such as company stamping, consolidating, and mailing.
  • Responsible for the brainstorming, planning and execution of all company social events, interfacing with the Culture Club as appropriate.
  • Promotes employee engagement that enhances in-office culture.
  • Provides general support to office visitors.
  • Monitors and maintains office supply inventory.
  • Maintains printers and copiers.
  • Organizes and coordinates maintenance appointments needs.
  • Point person for office operations and procedures.
  • Manages relationships with service providers and landlord.
  • Partners with HR to maintain office policies and communicates as necessary.
  • Assists HR with Onboarding/Offboarding activities and procedures.
  • Provides applicant tracking support.
  • Provides support in New Hire orientations and office administrative training needed to new employees.
  • Coordinates IT needs with the IT department for all office equipment.
  • Proactively maintains and ensures a safe and secure working environment.
