               TRC Talent Solutions is Hiring an Entry Level Tech Support Specialist 

 

Looking to launch or grow your career in technology? TRC Talent Solutions is hiring an Entry Level Tech Support to join an innovative technology team in Ocala, FL. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, configure computer systems, support customers, and assist with installations both in-house and onsite.

Job Details 

  • Location: Ocala, FL | Fully On-Site

  • Salary: Starting at $40,000- $45,000/year (DOE)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST

What You Will Be Doing

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and proprietary software

  • Provide Tier II technical support to customers via phone, remote assistance, and onsite visits

  • Diagnose and repair hardware, software, networking, wiring, and electronic equipment issues

  • Install and configure Microsoft SQL Express, IIS, Windows environments, and proprietary applications

  • Perform onsite installation, maintenance, and upgrades of customer equipment and systems

  • Train customers on system operation, maintenance procedures, and software functionality

  • Assist with QA testing, system validation, and technical documentation

  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to implement customer solutions

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, service documentation, and repair logs

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in computer repair, hardware support, electronics, or technical support

  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware troubleshooting and Windows operating systems

  • Experience installing or supporting hardware, networking equipment, or technical systems

  • Comfortable lifting up to 20 pounds and working in workshop or test bench environments

  • Ability to travel approximately 10% nationwide for customer installations and support

  • Bachelor's degree in computer technology, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field
