Job description

Mile High Honda & Acura is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Detail/Lot Tech Associate to join our team. In this role, you will maintain the visual presentation of our vehicle inventory and ensure the dealership lot looks organized and professional. You will learn professional detailing techniques, assist with new inventory delivery, and support our sales management and photography teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Detailing: Learn to detail new, pre-owned, and sold vehicles to showroom standards.
  • Inventory Intake: Stock in and check new vehicles delivered by the manufacturer.
  • Showroom Prep: Clean and position vehicles for display inside the main showroom.
  • Lot Merchandising: Arrange and organize vehicles on the lot for optimal presentation.
  • Media Assistance: Support our on-site media associate with vehicle photography and staging.
  • Management Support: Assist sales managers with miscellaneous daily dealership tasks.

Schedule Requirements:
  • Weekend Availability: Saturday shifts are required.
  • Evening Availability: Ability to work late evening shifts as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous entry-level vehicle detailing skills required.
  • Advanced Skills: Prior experience with paint correction is a major plus.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Traits: Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Physical: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork and communication skills.

SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent driving and parking skills required.
  • English language required (bilingual is a plus)
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one with supervisor and customer and small group situations with customers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  • Regularly exposed to all weather elements including hand carwash environment.
