As a program and project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need a seasoned program and project management specialist like you who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
As a leader on our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of empowering our clients in achieving their mission and objectives. You'll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Project and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.

You Have:
  • Experience developing and delivering hardware-based solutions in a project or program management role
  • Experience using Microsoft Project to build and manage project delivery
  • Experience writing technical proposals
  • Experience managing delivery to a contract
  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter and manage work efficiently
  • Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget for all elements of a project
  • Ability to identify, manage, and communicate project risks to senior leadership
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience using EVMS to manage project budgets and schedules
  • Experience managing research and development programs in the DoD
  • Experience managing programs to design and deliver integrated hardware and software systems
  • Experience working with suppliers and managing product delivery to a set of requirements
  • Experience using Agile framework and the Sprint or Scrum approach for project management
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD design software
  • Possession of excellent problem resolution and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Master's degree in Engineering a plus
  • Project Management Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
