DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technical Project Coordinator supports the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of technical projects by serving as a liaison between teams and leadership. This role ensures clear communication, tracks progress, manages schedules, and helps identify risks to keep projects aligned with timelines, quality standards, and business needs.
The incumbent will:
- Facilitate recurring IT PMO project standups, capture progress, next steps, and blockers, and ensure commitments are documented through closure
- Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks by coordinating across IT, business units, and vendors, escalating issues to the IT Director when appropriate
- Own the Jira Change workflow, coordinate CAB submissions, and draft MOPs, maintenance-window plans, rollback plans, and post-change closure logs for audit readiness
- Maintain PMO and Change projects by standardizing workflows, building dashboards and reports, and implementing process improvements
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for branch and business-unit stakeholders, translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, and escalate issues when needed
- Draft weekly project status rollups, RAG summaries, and portfolio dashboards for the IT Director and executive leadership
- Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, decision logs, and audit-ready records in SharePoint and Confluence per bank standards
- Continuously improve Jira Project and Change workflows by recommending automation and template standardization to increase team efficiency
- Support IT audit and examination activities, including FFIEC, GLBA, InTREx, and IT-SOx requests, by producing project and change evidence
- Responsible for being familiar with all compliance regulations and policies that are applicable to this position and follow and ensure compliance with these regulations and policies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelorโs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Up to 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a technical environment; relevant internships or academic projects will be considered
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Proficiency with, or exposure to, project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Confluence, or SharePoint
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for reporting and data tracking
PREFERRED SKILLS
- CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), CompTIA Project+, ITIL Foundation, or similar certification
- Prior internship or coursework within banking, financial services, or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and standard technical documentation practices
- Exposure to workflow or automation tools such as Power Automate
- Foundational knowledge of technical concepts such as scripting (PowerShell, Python), networking, or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Intune (Autopilot and MDM)
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives within a professional environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The physical requirements and environmental conditions of this position consist primarily of:
- Sustained standing and sitting
- Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor
- Occasional lifting and/or moving equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Normal office environment with comfortable internal temperatures and low-level noise
